PR Account Manager
The role
Working within our small and friendly team you will devise and deliver effective and creative PR campaigns that meet clients’ objectives. Taking a pro-active approach, you will build strong relationships with the media and client teams and skillfully manage internal teams and processes.
The day-to-day:
· Day to day account management of your clients (actions, delivery, budgeting)
· Day to day management of Account Executives in delivery of their roles, and reporting into Account Lead
· Interpret and respond to client briefs and develop effective communications strategies using media expertise, creativity and insight, providing advice and solutions for the client
· Create news stories and generate coverage, drafting press releases and features as appropriate
· Develop and deliver social media strategies and campaigns
· Organise press conferences and corporate events for the client
· Manage stakeholder and community engagement programmes for clients
· Manage own and team time to ensure profitable running of accounts, using a range of systems and procedures
· Exploit own personal network of business and industry contacts to contribute to the growth of BWL Agency Lagos
Key Skills:
· At least two years’ experience as a Manager within a PR agency or in house role
· Strong understanding of traditional and digital PR
· Excellent grasp of clients’ marketplaces and audiences
· Excellent written and verbal communications skills
· Commercial awareness
· Strong organisation and time management skills
· Personal drive, motivation and pro-active approach

Senior Account Executive
The Role
The Senior Account Executive is responsible for managing multiple accounts of various sizes, including media relations around campaigns and launches. They also ensure that interns, account coordinators and account executives are properly trained and capable of providing the most effective support across accounts.
The day-to-day:
· Demonstrates excellent knowledge of traditional and digital media to maximize PR opportunities for clients
· Works collaboratively with account teams to meet & exceed strategic, messaging and media outreach goals
· Manages multiple projects from conception to completion, by anticipating challenges and ensuring deadline and budget adherence
· Builds trusted relationships with journalists and media professionals covering their specialty/client area
· Communicates clearly, and keeps the team and client informed on progress, ensuring expectations are managed and any issues are escalated in a timely fashion
· Effectively writes a range of copy (internal/external) including: press releases, quotes, emails, status & contact reports, social media materials
· Proactively keeps up to date with client-specific media, industry and digital developments and seeks to apply this knowledge in their work
· Delivers insightful research driven by data
· Interprets and responds to client briefs and develops effective communication strategies
Key Skills:
· Bachelor's Degree + minimum 3 years agency experience in developing and implementing communications programs.
· Experience in lifestyle and consumer is strongly preferred.
· Experience with new digital media and social networking tactics. Strong understanding of streaming gaming platforms is preferred.
· Broad technology and entertainment business knowledge, strong client management skills and creative thinking abilities

Account Executive
The Role
From writing and selling in press releases to the media to running social media campaigns, PR account executives work within a wider team to influence public opinion or behaviour on behalf of their clients, usually without the use of paid advertising.
The day-to-day
A PR account executive will typically:
• Write press releases, news stories, articles, case studies and product pieces
• Pitch press releases and feature ideas by phone or email to national, regional and trade journalists, across print, broadcast and online, to interest them in covering their clients’ stories
• Respond to phone calls and emails from journalists
• Arrange interviews and editorial meetings with key journalists for clients’ spokespeople - in person or over the phone - and facilitate these meetings where appropriate
• Monitor media coverage and report results to the wider team and clients
• Attend client events and industry conferences
• Handle clients’ social media accounts such as their Twitter, Facebook or LinkedIn page
• Deliver analytics reports on social media, reporting on traffic, engagement and follower figures
• Brainstorm fresh ideas for PR campaigns
Key skills
• English language fluency: You need to have excellent written and spoken English.
• Copywriting skills: You need to be hot on spelling, grammar and proof-reading, as well as have a creative flair for producing engaging copy.
• Presentation skills: From communicating ideas to your team to presenting stories to journalists, you need to organise information in a succinct and interesting way to capture their attention.
• Strong interpersonal skills: Whether it’s over the phone, by email or in person, PR is all about people, so you need to be approachable, friendly and empathetic, and be able to relate to people on different levels within the agency, with clients and with the media.
• Excellent telephone manner: You will spend a lot of your time pitching stories to journalists, so you need to have the confidence to pick up the phone and speak to them and maintain a positive, friendly and upbeat tone.
• Time-keeping: You will often be working to tight media deadlines as well as meeting the demands and pressures of your team and clients, so you need to be able to work quickly and efficiently, without compromising on quality.
• Resilience: You need to be ballsy enough to pick up the phone to national journalists and resilient enough to handle criticism and rejection.
Executive Assistant
Join our buzzy office in a full PA/EA role. This is a multi-support office and will require management duties along with an ability to work cohesively with a team. This person will need to have the ability to manage, develop and grow other admins and model core admin behaviors as an example to the greater global community.
This role will need to work closely with the Founder, cross-functional internal teams, and external clients. This person will need to be comfortable interfacing with external clients in a professional and friendly manner and be capable of communicating across many different types of platforms including email, Messenger, WhatsApp, etc. Additionally, this person should have project management experience with a strategic mindset.
The ideal candidate will be passionate, resourceful, and self-motivated. He or she will be able to manage a heavy workload efficiently, while anticipating the needs of a manager and team before they arise. This person should be a masterful problem-solver who can operate in an incredibly fast-paced environment with a sense of humor and spirit of helpfulness.
The day-to-day
Perform administrative tasks including: complex calendar management for internal and external meetings, manage heavy domestic and international travel arrangements, and complete expense reports
Travel with the executive as needed
Manage team meeting schedule, structure, agenda and follow-up
Handle tasks associated with various projects and programs supported by the team
Project manage all logistics for team off-sites
Assist in the preparation of presentations and briefs for meetings
Coordinate and manage logistics and preparation for external presentation engagements
Build cross-functional relationships with key partners in other departments
Key Skills
Experience providing direct administrative support to 1 or more C-level executives
Experience coordinating international and domestic travel logistics on behalf of 1 or more C-level executives
Direct calendar management and expense report management experience for 1 or more C-level executives
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
